Recently, Teyu paid a return visit to a laser manufacturer in Shenzhen
City for their use of S&A water chiller. This manufacturer is mainly
engaged in the production of fiber cutting and welding machines. Now
they are using three brands of water chillers. As far as the usage is
concerned, S&A dual temperature and dual control water chiller has a
higher usage rate than the other brands. (S&A dual temperature and
dual control water chiller is designed purposely for fiber laser)
We made an in-depth communication with the customer's quality inspector regarding some technical problems. The laser manufacturer reflected that S&A water chiller had gone through their strict quality inspection system. Meanwhile the laser manufacturer also raised some questions about the details of S&A water chiller. For example, why the wire wound filter element, instead of the PP cotton filter element has been used in S&A water chiller.
Herein, we shall make a simple comparison between the wire wound filter and the PP cotton filter:
1. PP cotton filter is for civil use and not applicable to the industrial application. However the wire wound filter element is for industrial use.
2. Due to the high density, the PP cotton might get blocked as it cannot be cleaned after the absorption of foreign matter.
3. The wire wound filter element will never fall off.
4. The wire wound filter element can be properly cleaned.
