Goodyear Tire Corp. announced that it has appointed George Rietbergen as Vice President of the Commercial Products Business Unit in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Effective July 1st, George was General Manager of Goodyear Dunlop Tyre UK.
After taking up his new position, George will be responsible for advancing the growth strategy of Goodyear Commercial Vehicle's tire business, focusing on the sustainable development of the business and improving the operational management level.
George joined Goodyear Tire Company in 2001. He is responsible for the development of e-commerce and retail strategies. In 2005, he was appointed General Manager of the Benelux Economic Area. In 2010, he was appointed General Manager of Goodrich Dunlop UK and Ireland.
ErichFric will replace George's post as General Manager of Goodyear Dunlop Tyre UK, effective July 1.
