Nanning City, Guangxi Province recently signed a framework agreement for regional science and technology cooperation. According to Yong Yongwu, director of the Nanning Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the signed value of the eight scientific and technological cooperation projects reached 46 million yuan. Docking with domestic key universities and research institutes, focusing on high-tech enterprises, independent innovation, and competitive industries are the highlights of this contracting project.
Guangxi Yiduosheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and China Agricultural University’s School of Science and Technology have conducted strategic cooperation and invested 200 million yuan to develop and produce bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers for use in crops such as sugar cane, fruit trees, rice, and corn. After the project is completed and put into production, it is estimated that the annual new output value will reach 500 million yuan.
