On June 12th , the world's largest ship loader independently designed and manufactured by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry was assembled.
The project has two machines and will be used in Aso Port, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The batch ship has the functions of telescopic expansion, swing and pitch. It is the largest ship loader in the world. It has a rated loading capacity of 12,000 tons per hour and a maximum loading capacity of 15,000 tons per hour.
The ship loader consists of a main engine, a tail car and a relay belt conveyor. The ship loader has a gauge of 18 meters, a base distance of 17 meters, a slewing track diameter of 10 meters, a radius of gyration of nearly 50 meters, and a top rail of the dock corridor. 22 meters, the total weight of the equipment is about 1800 tons.
Currently, the ship loader is undergoing electrical commissioning and is expected to be shipped at the end of June.
