The new QSM11-CP is a QSM11-DM marine auxiliary generator that matches the Cummins generator technology marine grade HCM434F1 alternator. The main components of all of the company's C Power generators are designed and manufactured by Cummins itself to ensure compatibility and efficiency. Customers can also choose the Cummins C HD panel to make the unit tailored to different vessels.
It is reported that QSM11-CP has been certified by US EPA Tier 2 and IMO Tier II emission standards, meets SOLAS requirements, and has been approved by major classification societies such as ABS, BV, DNV, and LR.
The QSM11-CP is designed for maritime applications. Cummins pointed out that the characteristics of the ship's global operations mean that onboard machinery can be supported anywhere in the world. “Since its introduction in 2001, Cummins C Power products have set power generation standards in the marine industry,†said Cummins Merchant Marine General Manager Jenny Bush. “We recently opened Cummins Commercial Marine and Offshore Oil & Gas Center in Singapore, which will enhance our Product design, testing, integration and support capabilities."
The new QSM11-CP products are integrated and assembled in Singapore and are supported and serviced by more than 1,200 distribution outlets worldwide.
