Common faults and treatments for multi-layer thickeners

Therefore, the management, operation, adjustment, fault diagnosis and treatment of the multi-layer thickener are more complicated than the single-layer thickener. The common faults of multi-layer thickeners and their treatment methods are as follows:
1. Blocking of mud sealing tank The layering of the multi-layer thickener is realized by the forced discharge device, that is, the mud sealing tank. When the amount of ore processed is large, the specific gravity, the particle size, and the speed of no falling are fast, the inner scraper will be difficult to lift the slurry, and the coarse particles will be deposited and the mud sealing tank will be blocked. When the treatment volume fluctuates widely and the time is long, the height of the dice can be adjusted to control the discharge speed.
The operation time of the multi-layer thickener tweezers should not be too long. Otherwise, the ore particles with coarser grain size are deposited in the mud sealing tank, and when they are turned on, they are difficult to discharge to the lower layer and block the mud sealing groove.
The phenomenon of judging the blockage of the mud seal is:
1) The upper layer is normally fed, and the concentration of the lower layer is gradually reduced to discharge clear water.
2) The blockage layer continues to accumulate, causing the layer to run more and more seriously.
3) The transmission motor load of the multi-layer thickener increases and the current increases.
4) The middle layer of the three-layer thickener is clogged, the washing water is added normally, and when the lower layer stops discharging, the water level of the adjusting tank and the underflow level will increase significantly. When the wash water stops, the lower layer continues to drain, and the water level going down and down will decrease rapidly.
Confirm that a layer has been blocked. When there is less sand and the clogging time is shorter, it can be treated by lifting the raft and discharging the sand. When there is too much sand, the above method is difficult to be effective, and after discharging the liquid, it is washed with high-pressure water or artificially.
When handling mud seal accidents, solid and liquid should be discharged layer by layer from top to bottom to avoid damage to the interlayer of the middle layer.
2. Pipe plugging The pipe inside the inner wall is cleaned and replaced during maintenance; the debris or ore deposits may cause the pipeline to be blocked and cleaned up in time.
3. Overflow running The main reasons for turbulent running are: the ore contains more ore, the treatment volume is too large, the amount of washing water is increased, the mud seal of the mud seal is destroyed, and a certain layer of sand is excessive. The common one is that there is too much sand in the lower layer. At this time, the overflow will run, and the slime will be in a vicious circle between the layers. At this time, the concentration of the ore should be reduced, and the lower layer of mud will be released, so that the multi-layer thickener gradually returns to normal.
4. The mud seal layer does not form a mud seal or the mud seal is destroyed. The reason is that the discharge amount of each layer exceeds the ore supply amount, the ore supply is stopped or the mine is intermittently supplied, the rotation speed of the tweezers is too fast, and the truss is raised too high.
This accident can be judged from adjusting the water level of the water tank, and the static balance height difference between the layers is zero. After the mud seal is destroyed, except for the upper layer, the overflow of each layer is less than the amount of washing water; when the mud seals are all destroyed, there is no overflow in all layers except the upper layer, and there is no height difference between the layers of the water tank. In short, the mud seal is destroyed, and the efficiency of each layer and the total washing efficiency are reduced. At this time, the cause should be eliminated in time.
