It consists of a thick pool 7, a truss 5, a transmission device 2, a truss lifting device 3, a receiving cylinder 4, a discharging device 9, and the like. The cylindrical dense pool 7 is made of cement or steel plate, and the bottom of the pool is flat or slightly conical. At the upper edge of the pool wall, there is an annular overflow tank 6 for overflowing, and the concentrated slurry needs to flow into the receiving cylinder 4 in the center of the pool along the feeding trough on the truss, and the lower portion of the receiving cylinder is immersed in the thickened surface of the dense tank. under. A vertical shaft 8 is fixed in the center of the thick pool, and a cross-shaped truss 5 is fixed at the end of the shaft, and a scraper is arranged under the truss. The concentrated material is discharged from the discharge device 9 in the center of the pool by the truss scraper, and the clarified overflow water overflows from the upper overflow tank 6.
In order to prevent the cruciform truss from being twisted when the thickener is under overload, the truss lifting device 3 can adjust the height of the truss and is also equipped with an overload signal.
Figure 9-5 shows the peripheral transmission thickener. It has a thick cylindrical construction of a reinforced concrete tank, which has a reinforced central column 1 in place of coagulation soil rake axis, with gold leaf rake annular metal seat in column 1, and the other end of the truss end bracket 2 The platform 5 is provided with a tractor (transmission device) 6 supported on the ring-pool track 4 laid along the upper edge of the pool wall, and the tractor is moved by the motor through the reducer to move on the ring-pool track 4.
The slurry enters the thickener along the feed trough 8 fixed on the bridge 7, and the concentrated material passes through the conical leaves from the periphery into the conical portion below the central funnel, and is then sent away by the sand pump.
Some large-scale concentrators in China use edge-driven thickeners. The main advantages of the thickener are simple structure, convenient operation, less power consumption, and high technical and economic indicators. The main disadvantage is that it has a large footprint and is not suitable for coarse-grained materials of 0.3 mm.
