Shandong successfully developed full hydraulic self-propelled biological mechanism fertilizer equipment
The ZF850 full-hydraulic self-propelled biological fertilizer equipment, developed by the Shandong Agricultural Machinery Research Institute, has recently gained widespread attention and interest. The institute has established partnerships with numerous organizations across cities such as Shanghai, Xi'an, Qingdao, and Heilongjiang, with many expressing strong interest in placing orders. To ensure the success of this innovative product, a dedicated design team comprising engineers, skilled workers, and production staff was formed. It took two years of intensive research and development to bring this advanced piece of machinery to market.
The successful development and stable operation of the ZF850 model provide an economical and efficient technical solution for the comprehensive utilization of crop straw. This innovation also demonstrates that using biochemical rapid decomposition technology to turn straw into high-quality organic fertilizer is a practical and effective method for straw management.
China possesses the world’s largest amount of crop straw, with an annual output of 600 million tons. However, much of it is either left in the fields or burned after being dried by the sun, leading to significant resource waste and severe air pollution. Although the government has implemented strict regulations to ban straw burning, the issue persists due to the lack of effective straw utilization methods. Finding a way to fully utilize straw has become a pressing challenge.
Straw is rich in organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements, making it a valuable source of organic fertilizer. Currently, there are three main methods for utilizing straw: high-temperature composting, direct return to the field, and the use of biochemical rapid decomposition technology to produce high-quality organic fertilizer. Among these, the biochemical method stands out as a modern approach that applies biotechnology to convert straw into premium bio-organic fertilizer. This technique offers advantages such as high automation, short processing time, high yield, no environmental impact, and improved fertilization efficiency.
In recent years, farmers have increasingly relied on chemical fertilizers and low-quality products to boost yields, which has negatively impacted both agricultural product quality and soil health. Poor-quality fertilizers have led to pesticide residues in crops, posing risks to farmers and consumers alike, and damaging China's agricultural exports. Therefore, converting large amounts of waste straw into organic fertilizer through bio-fertilizer technology not only addresses the issue of straw utilization but also enhances the quality of agricultural products, promotes green and pollution-free agriculture, and strengthens the competitiveness of Chinese agricultural products in the global market.
As a new generation of environmentally friendly agricultural equipment, the ZF850 full-hydraulic self-propelled biological fertilizer machine developed by the Shandong Agricultural Machinery Research Institute integrates advanced foreign technologies and design concepts. It uses state-of-the-art closed hydraulic transmission systems, with key components imported from abroad. The machine features a reasonable design, complete functions, a sprinkler system, and a fault warning system. It is powered by an 82-kilowatt four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, offering strong power and reliable performance. The equipment combines mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with full hydraulic control and in-situ steering capabilities. It operates smoothly, is easy to handle, and has an attractive appearance. Its performance meets international advanced standards, making it suitable for industrial-scale processing of straw, crop waste, and poultry manure.
Additionally, the cost of the ZF850 is significantly lower than similar foreign models—only about two-fifths the price. It is sold for approximately 800,000 yuan, while comparable machines from abroad can cost between 1.4 million and 1.6 million yuan. This makes the ZF850 a highly competitive and cost-effective option for farmers and agricultural enterprises.
