Miao Wei said that the signing of the contract is an important measure for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to further implement the State Council's strategy to advance a new round of western development and support the development of Tibetan areas in Qinghai. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen communication and cooperation with Qinghai Province, promote the industrial transformation of Qinghai as soon as possible and accelerate the process of new industrialization in Qinghai in ten aspects such as implementing differentiated industrial policies, developing advantageous industries, accelerating the construction of industrial parks, and increasing the development of special funds. .

Miao Wei said that in recent years, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has intensified its support for the economic and social development of Qinghai and approved the implementation of a number of national key scientific and technological special projects and technological transformation projects. In 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology formulated the "Opinions on Further Promoting the Development of Industry and Informatization in Qinghai Province." In 2010, the salt lake chemical and metal new material industrial base in Haixi, Qinghai was listed as the first "national new industrialization industrial demonstration base."
