1 Introduction
Luoyang Modu Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. is located in Chengguan Town, Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. The northeast is 204km away from Luoyang City and 197km away from Lingbao City in the northwest. The three places are in an equilateral triangle. The roads are connected and the transportation is convenient.
Luoyang Molybden Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. relies on the Shangfanggou extra large aluminum deposit as the raw material base. It is a medium-sized molybdenum industry joint enterprise integrating mining, selection and metallurgy.
The company's history of developing molybdenum dates back to the early 1970s, when the 50t/d fish pond molybdenum plant was built and put into production. Subsequently, with the establishment and improvement of the company, the scale of production continued to expand and the scope of business continued to expand. So far, the company has a bauxite, three molybdenum processing plant, a molybdenum plant five key enterprises. There are more than 1,500 employees, 78 technicians and 65 million yuan in fixed assets. With 2100~2200t/d mining and selection capacity, it can produce 2500t of molybdenum concentrate and 1000t of ferromolybdenum. The company also operates other mineral products.
In view of the fact that the ore molybdenum ore is rich in talc , the molybdenum ore has a fine grain size and is difficult to float. The company attaches great importance to scientific research, trains and introduces a group of technicians; strengthens management and makes production develop rapidly. Nowadays, the planning for the mining of the Shangfang molybdenum mine and the construction of the new 5000t/d plant has been fixed. Once the plant is completed and put into operation, Luoyang Modu Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. will be among the largest molybdenum companies.
2. Deposits and ores
Deposit: Shangfanggou molybdenum deposit is a very large porphyry-skarn type molybdenum deposit. It is located in Shangfanggou Village, Lengshui Township, Luanchuan County, and is adjacent to the Sandaotun-Nannihu molybdenum deposit.
The ore body is distributed in the granite porphyry, skarn and altered Baiyun marble in the contact zone of the granite porphyry. The ore body is huge, and it is in the shape of a teacup that is tilted upside down, facing south to the side, with a side angle of about 60°. There is no ore in the cup or just an off-balance ore. The ore body has a surface length of 950m, a ring bandwidth of 200~400m, and a depth of 1000m. From the plan view, the ore body section is an asymmetrical elliptical band around the granite body. As the belt develops to depth, the length, width, and non-mineral ring are also increasing: the length is increased from 950m to 1120m, the width is increased from 400m to 700m, and the center of the ring is increased from 0m 2 to 14,000m 2 .
The ore reserves are 540 Mt, the molybdenum reserves are 700 kt, the average grade of molybdenum is 0.134%, and the WO 3 is also associated with tens of thousands of tons.
In addition to the molybdenum ore deposit, the deposit also produces magnetite ore bodies in the outer skarn. Its shape is controlled by the contact zone of the rock mass, and it is mostly lenticular. The largest one is 200~500m long and 24m thick, and the average contains TFe33.8%.
There are four types of ore natural types.
(1) skarn molybdenum ores: the main metal minerals is magnetite (> 10%) and pyrite (1% to 5%), followed by molybdenite, scheelite - calcium molybdenum ore MINERALS , pyrrhotite and brass ore; trace there galena, cassiterite like. The gangue minerals are mainly diopside , tremolite and dolomite.
(2) Granite porphyry molybdenum ore: The main metal mineral is pyrite (1%~5%), followed by molybdenum ore, trace amounts of chalcopyrite, magnetite and galena. Gangue minerals potassium feldspar and quartz. It is distributed in the ore at the silicified outer shell of the southwestern part of the rock strain. The molybdenum mineralization is enriched and the molybdenum grade is 0.3%~0.5%.
(3) Molybdenum ore rock angle: major metallic minerals pyrite, molybdenite followed, sphalerite and magnetite. The gangue minerals are potassium feldspar, plagioclase and quartz. In the thin layer of horn rock and its vicinity, molybdenum mineralization is the most abundant, with a grade of 0.3%.
(4) Gabbro-type molybdenum ore: The main metal minerals are white titanium , ilmenite and pyrite, followed by molybdenite. The main gangue minerals are hornblende and plagioclase. In the area where the tremolite is in contact, the molybdenum mineralization is enriched and the grade is 0.5% to 1%.
If the above ore is classified according to processing technology, it can be divided into: single molybdenum ore type; molybdenum, iron type; single iron type and oxidized ore. Almost all ores contain WO 3 , Gu, Pb, Zn, Ni, and the like. Other elements are not high in content.
Molybdenum ore is mainly formed in the quartz-sulfide stage. It is mostly vein-net vein, film-like output, pulse width 1.5~15mm, and symbiosis with quartz and pyrite.
The molybdenum ore has a small particle size, usually between 15 and 50 μm, and less than 200 mesh (74 μm), which accounts for more than 80%. It is self-shaped or semi-self-shaped. Among them, the zinc content is about 26 to 58 ppm.

3. Introduction to the factory
(1) Shangfang Molybdenum Mine: Located in Shangfang Village, Lengshui Township, Luanchuan County. The roadway and the shaft pit are used for mining, and the electric car transports the ore to the yard, and then the car is transported to each selected factory. Existing mining capacity of 2000~2500t/d.
(2) Jiaoshuou Molybdenum Plant: It is located in Jiaoshuou Village, Taowan Township, Luanchuan County, and is 0.8km away from the Pingxiangkou of Shangfang Molybdenum Mine in the north. The existing beneficiation capacity is 1500t/d.
Broken: consists of two identical, side-by-side series. Process, three sections and one closed circuit crushing process. Equipment, each series has one 500×700mm jaw crusher, one 250×1250m jaw crusher, one ¢1200mm medium cone crusher and one ¢1250×2500mm vibrating screen. After crushing the ore to -20mm, it will be sent to the main plant powder ore warehouse for use.
Rough segment: consists of four identical, side-by-side systems (see Figure 1-a). Process, a closed-circuit grinding, a rough selection, a second rough sweep. Equipment, each series has ¢2.1×3.0m lattice ball mill , ¢1.2m sorghum double spiral classifier, SF-4 flotation machine three slots, JJF-4 flotation machine six slots (rough, one The sweep and the second sweep are each composed of a tank SF-4 with two tanks JJF-4.
Selected segment: consists of two phase two, parallel system (see Figure 1-b). Process, a closed circuit and re-grind, eleven selects, three fine sweeps. Equipment, each series has one 900×1800mm ball mill, two 125mm hydrocyclones, 26A 4F flotation machine and 3A flotation machine 4 troughs.

(3) Nangou Molybdenum Selection Plant: Located in Nangou Village, Lengshui Township, Luanchuan County. It is 15km away from the flat roadway of Shangfang Molybdenum Mine. The existing ore dressing scale is 300t/d.
Broken: Process, three-stage and one-off crushing process (see Figure 2). Equipment, one 400×604mm jaw crusher, one 250×1000mm jaw crusher, one PCL1000-3 vertical shaft hammer crusher and one 900×1800mm vibrating screen. The ore is crushed to -18 mm for use.

Rough selection: two identical, side-by-side series. Process, a closed-circuit grinding, one rough selection, four sweeps. Equipment, each series has ¢1.5×3.0m lattice ball mill, ¢1.2m sorghum single spiral classifier, 5A flotation machine 28 tank, 3A flotation machine 20 tank.
Selected sections: craft, twelve selections, three fine sweeps, three fine sweeps of tailings returned to the rough selection for the first sweep.
(4) Fish pond molybdenum selection plant: The fish pond selection plant is the earliest molybdenum selection plant built by the mineral company. From 50t/d, it has been expanded to reach the current 300t/d ore dressing scale.
Yuku Molybdenum Plant is located in Yuku Village, Taowan Township, Luanchuan County. It is 13km away from Shangfang Molybdenum Mine.
The technology, equipment and scale of the fish pond molybdenum plant are consistent with that of the Nangou plant. This is not described here. [next]
4. Summary of Molybdenum Plants in Luanchuan Area
The Luanchuan Molybdenum Ore Field, the Lushi Tungsten Molybdenum Ore Field, and the Jinduicheng-Huanglongpu Molybdenum Ore Field constitute the largest East Qinling molybdenum metallogenic belt in China's abdominal heart region, which is extremely rare in the world.
The Luanchuan molybdenum ore field includes two large-scale molybdenum deposits, the Sandaotun-Nannihu molybdenum deposit and the Shangfanggou molybdenum deposit. Its proven molybdenum reserves have reached more than 2000kt. In addition, Mahua molybdenum deposit, Laomiaogou molybdenum deposit, Camelshan molybdenum deposit... In Luanchuan County, molybdenum deposits are widely distributed. In addition, it is also associated with WO 3 and Fe. There are also resources such as Pb, Zn, Au, Mn, fluorite and crystal .
The history of the development of the molybdenum industry in the Luanchuan area dates back to 1969, when the “698†molybdenum plant was put into operation, creating a precedent for the development of the molybdenum industry in Luanchuan. Later, the molybdenum industry developed rapidly and became one of the three major molybdenum bases alongside Jinduicheng and Yangjiazhangzi.
At present, there are nearly 100 molybdenum selection plants in the county, including state-owned large companies: molybdenum industry, molybdenum mining and metallurgy co., Ltd., smelting company, non-ferrous company; and township enterprises: jiatudian township selection plant, second plant , three selection plants, Shimiao Township selection of factories...; also joint enterprises: Shanghai-Qiliping joint office selection; there are many individual small factories. The plants selected for the above 300t/d scale are listed in the table below.
