Recently, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and China Petrochemical Corporation signed a cooperation and development agreement in Beijing.
According to the agreement, Sinopec will start the construction of a number of projects including Yangzi Petrochemical's three-wheel ethylene renovation project, and actively support Jiangsu Province's planning and layout of refining and chemical integration projects along the northern coast of Jiangsu Province. Lianyungang will be used as an important base for crude oil reserve and integration in the coastal region. Jiangsu Province will fully support the construction of key projects of Sinopec in Jiangsu and actively support Sinopec to build a refined oil sales network such as Jiangsu product oil pipelines and gas stations.
