It has also been reported that many electronics companies from Taiwan are actively entering the mainland automotive electronics market. For instance, after acquiring Antai Electronics Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of automotive wire harnesses, Foxconn began expanding its presence in the sector. The company has set up automotive electronics production lines in Kunshan, Jiangsu, and Guangxi, while its Shenzhen branch has established a dedicated department for automotive electronic components. Additionally, investments in Mg-Al City in Shanxi aim to focus on auto parts and component manufacturing, further solidifying the region's role in the automotive supply chain.
