Chinese rubber machine companies collectively sensational stir ITEC

From September 12 to 14, for the first time, 12 Chinese rubber machinery companies joined forces to participate in a major international exhibition organized by the International Tire and Rubber Machinery Exhibition (ITEC) in Akron, Ohio, USA. This marked a significant step in showcasing China's capabilities in the global rubber machinery industry. Their collective participation created a strong impression, boosting the international visibility of Chinese rubber machines and drawing widespread attention from exhibitors, organizers, and visitors alike. According to the Rubber Machinery Professional Committee of the China National Chemical Equipment Association, this was the first time that Chinese companies exhibited collectively rather than individually. These 12 large domestic firms accounted for over 60% of the total sales revenue in the Chinese rubber machinery sector, reflecting their strong market presence. Currently, China holds 23.1% of the global rubber machinery market share—7.1% higher than Western Europe—and has emerged as a leading force in both production and consumption. The cost-effectiveness of Chinese machines has disrupted traditional pricing models, reshaping the global landscape of the industry. Notably, 11 of the world’s top 12 tire manufacturers now use Chinese rubber machinery. The European Rubber Magazine highlighted in a recent report that "Chinese rubber machine companies are gaining more influence in global market competition." It is clear that Chinese manufacturers are increasingly committed to going global. In 2005, the export value of China’s rubber machinery reached approximately $73 million, representing a 20% increase from the previous year. At ITEC, the organizers set up a dedicated Chinese pavilion in a prime location, bringing together all 12 participating companies. This impressive display left a lasting impression on attendees and significantly enhanced the brand recognition of Chinese rubber machinery. According to the exhibition organizers, this was the first time a single country had its own exhibition hall at ITEC. During the event, a press conference was held specifically for the Chinese rubber and machinery industry. Gu Hongzhen, president of the China Rubber Industry Association, provided insights into the current state and future development plans of the industry. Li Dongping, vice chairman of the China National Chemical Equipment Association, discussed the progress and characteristics of China’s rubber machinery. These high-level presentations helped the global audience gain a deeper understanding of China’s growing role in the sector. Additionally, the Chinese pavilion engaged in extensive discussions with major tire companies like Goodyear, further strengthening ties and opening new opportunities for Chinese machinery in international markets, particularly in North America. This event was organized by the Rubber Machinery Professional Committee of the China National Chemical Equipment Association and China United Rubber (Group) Corporation, marking a milestone in China’s efforts to expand its global footprint in the rubber machinery industry.

Card Material PVC

Polyvinyl chloride plastic is a polymer formed by free radical polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer. The English name is polyviny chloride, or PVC for short.
PVC is one of the largest plastic products in the world. It is cheap and widely used. PVC resin is white or light yellow powder. Different additives can be added according to different purposes, and PVC plastics can present different physical and mechanical properties. Adding an appropriate amount of plasticizer to the polyvinyl chloride resin can make a variety of hard, soft and transparent products. PVC can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. Soft PVC is generally used for floors, ceilings and leather surfaces, but because soft PVC contains softeners (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), it is easy to become brittle and difficult to store, so its scope of use is limited. Rigid PVC does not contain softeners, so it has good flexibility, easy forming, not brittle, non-toxic and pollution-free, and has a long storage time, so it has great development and application value. The essence of PVC is a kind of vacuum blister film, which is used for the surface packaging of various panels, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film, which is used in building materials, packaging, medicine and many other industries. Among them, the building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion at 60%, followed by the packaging industry, and there are several other small-scale applications. According to the molecular weight, PVC can be divided into two types: general-purpose type and high-polymerization type. Our commonly used PVC resins are all universal.
