According to statistics provided by the customs on imports and exports, edited and compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the current analysis of the import and export of engine products in March 2010 is as follows:
First, the export of engine products
In March 2010, exports of engine products totaled 212,600 units, an increase of 34.35% over the same period of last year; the export value was US$77 million, an increase of 74.19% over the same period of last year.
From January to March, the accumulated export of engine products totaled 736,200 units, an increase of 69.02% over the same period of last year; the cumulative export amount was 246 million US dollars, an increase of 92.41% over the same period of last year.
From January to March, the main export countries of engine products were: Japan, Iran, Cuba, South Korea, Vietnam, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, Nigeria, and United Arab Emirates.
