Seamless Carbon Boiler Tubes are manufactured according to the ASTM A 210 specification, which covers medium carbon steel tubes used in boiler and superheater applications. These tubes come in various types, including safe end tubes, minimum wall thickness arch tubes, and support tubes, with a wide range of sizes available.
The manufacturing process follows a seamless method, and the final product can be either hot-rolled or cold-drawn. Customization is possible based on specific requirements. The tubes undergo several testing procedures such as tensile testing, flattening test, expansion test, hardness testing, hydraulic testing, and non-destructive electrical testing to ensure quality and performance.
Delivery conditions include annealed, normalized, or normalized and tempered states, depending on the application needs. Surface treatments such as oil immersion, varnish coating, passivation, phosphating, and shot blasting are available to enhance corrosion resistance and durability.
These tubes are suitable for use in high, medium, and low-pressure boilers, as well as other pressure-related systems. They are widely used in power generation, industrial heating, and other critical applications where reliability and performance are essential.
