**TORONTO, August 1, 2024** – Rexel Energy Solutions (RES), a division of Nedco, has joined forces with ChargeLab to assist Canadian enterprises in securing grant funding covering up to half the costs related to buying and setting up new electric vehicle (EV) chargers. This financial support comes from the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP), managed by Natural Resources Canada.
Applications for ZEVIP kicked off on July 2, 2024, and will wrap up on September 19, 2024. This marks the first funding round under ZEVIP available to EV charger owners and operators since 2022. To qualify, interested parties must be Canadian businesses, utilities, municipalities, condo corporations, or other hosts installing at least two DC fast chargers or twenty Level 2 chargers. The grant covers up to 50% of total project expenses, with a cap of $5 million per organization.

ChargeLab provides network management software designed to help businesses deploy, monetize, and maintain their EV charging infrastructure. Network integration is a key requirement of ZEVIP, and ChargeLab ensures compliance through its user-friendly solutions. Additionally, they’ve created custom reports tailored to meet ZEVIP’s new uptime monitoring standards.
