In July 2017, 659 excavators were exported, and 4,884 units were exported this year, accounting for about 9% and 6% of the total sales. In the first seven months, export sales of excavators increased by 14% year-on-year.
Compared to the domestic market’s doubling of consecutive months, excavator export performance can only be considered satisfactory. However, with the continuous advancement of China's "Belt and Road Initiative", it is believed that overseas markets will surely play an increasingly important role in the development of various brands.
In the first seven months of 2017, only 15 of the 25 brands included in the statistics sold excavators overseas, among which 5 were exported by less than 100 brands. The top five export brands (Sany Heavy Machinery, Caterpillar, Liugong, Shanhe Intelligence, and XCMG) accounted for more than 80% of the total export volume.
Judging from the specific models, in the first seven months, a total of 11 models had exported more than 100 models, of which there were six models on March 1, two models on Caterpillar, one each on Liugong, XCMG and Chengdu Kobelco.
