On June 21st, the International Ship Network reported on OceanSaver's new generation of ballast water technology MARK II, which can reduce energy consumption by 50%. Recently, the system received orders for two Suez-type tankers and four bulk carriers of Ciner Shipping under the Turkish Ciner Group. The contract value is about US$7 million. The new vessels are being built by China Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and South Korea SPP Shipyard. .
It is reported that this is the first time OceanSaver has delivered a ballast water system for bulk carriers with a processing capacity of 1600 cubic meters per hour. At present, OceanSaver has orders for 38 systems, which has consolidated its position as a global supplier of medium and large vessels.
