On July 20th, the commencement ceremony of the project of an annual output of 150,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 200,000 tons of urea produced by Ningxia Yufeng Chemical Co., Ltd. was held in the Murray Industrial Park in Zhongwei City, Ningxia.
The company will implement an annual output of 150,000 tons of synthetic ammonia to produce 200,000 tons of urea, 100,000 tons of melamine, 100,000 tons of methanol protein and other projects, with a total investment of 2.6 billion yuan. The construction of the first phase of the project, which was initiated by the Sinochem Chemical Science and Technology Research Institute, will require an investment of 600 million yuan, and is scheduled to be put into operation in May 2012.
