Multi-vehicle crash in Niles, 7-10-20

Excerpts from Journal-topics.com:

A high-speed collision occurred on Friday evening in Niles, damaging six vehicles but resulting in only minor injuries. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Initially, police did not disclose the speed at which the black Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 34-year-old man from Des Plaines, was traveling westbound on Oakton Street as it approached Prospect Street. However, it has since been revealed that the vehicle somehow veered into the eastbound lanes just east of Prospect and collided with a white GMC SUV driven by a 49-year-old woman from Morton Grove.
