"Alright, this is what I saw near the intersection of 24th and Cicero. It's an old building that used to be part of the railroad maintenance yard, specifically an old roundhouse. The aerial shot you're looking at here is from the new Apple Maps app. By the time I got there, the fire had already died down quite a bit visually, but the firefighters still had two elevated master streams ready just in case. Based on the intensity of the radio chatter, I'm guessing there might have been an old locomotive involved in the blaze. The Lyons squad was working on a foam line inside the structure, though I’m not sure if it was Class A or Class B foam. Those photos of the firefighters cutting through the fence to reach the hydrant? Super cool. I wonder how they even knew there was one hidden back there. Meanwhile, the Berwyn engine was running a super-long relay of large diameter hose all the way across Cicero Avenue. If anyone has any additional details about this incident, feel free to share!"
