I recently came across these old fire engines that were once stationed in Big Flat, Arkansas. It's interesting to see how time has changed things—some places fall into disuse, while others move on. These units, originally from X-Alsip in Illinois, now sit quietly in a small town far from their original home.
I snapped a few photos of the engine, which still has its old markings and character. It's a bit sad to see such a piece of history left behind, but it's also a reminder of the past. Fire departments often have stories behind their equipment, and this one definitely has a story to tell.
