**A Hole in One: Nationwide Coils Helps Make MCASF’s 46th Annual Golf Outing a Success**
This year, as we look back on 2020, it's clear that the pandemic forced us to slow down and reflect on what truly matters. For many of us in the HVAC industry, those moments of connection—whether through virtual meetings or in-person events—became even more precious. That’s why last month’s MCASF annual golf outing stood out as a highlight of the year.
It was our fifth year as a sponsor, but this time felt different. After months of Zoom calls and limited social interactions, being on the golf course with colleagues was a welcome return to normalcy. It wasn’t just about business—it was about rekindling relationships, enjoying the game, and keeping our spirits up.
The event took place on December 14, 2020, at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Florida. We were proud to be a diamond-level sponsor, the highest level of support for the event. This year, 140 commercial HVAC professionals came together for a day of fun, networking, and friendly competition.
Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, the organizers did an excellent job ensuring everyone’s safety. Temperature checks were conducted upon arrival, hand sanitizer was available throughout the venue, and social distancing was encouraged. The “Joes vs. Pros†format was adjusted to allow smaller groups to play and eat at staggered times, reducing crowding and making the experience more comfortable for all.
Lunch was another highlight. The MCASF team provided creative options, including a sit-down meal in the Grill Room and a to-go alternative for those who preferred it. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Gift bags were also a hit, filled with premium items like a custom Nationwide Coils golf towel, raffle prizes, snacks, and plenty of golf balls. It was a great way to show appreciation to all attendees.
Stephen Barzelatto, Vice President of Nationwide Coils, was thrilled to invite fellow MCASF members to join his PRO team. He said, “It was a great opportunity to get out, network, and have some fun. We really appreciated being part of the event again and had a wonderful day.â€
