Build "Shenzhen Standard" Certification Platform

The reporter saw from the “Strategies for Building Shenzhen's Standards to Build New Advantages in Quality Development (2014-2020)” (hereinafter referred to as “Action Plan”), and it is planned to establish a “Shenzhen Standard” voluntary certification system.

Among them, the Shenzhen Market and Quality Supervision Committee took the lead to learn from the advanced foreign standard certification system and researched and established the “Shenzhen standard” labeling system. The government promoted third-party agencies to take the lead in launching the “Shenzhen Standard” voluntary certification pilot for food, furniture, clothing, and electronic information products. Products and services that have passed certified companies are eligible to use the “Shenzhen Standard” logo in related business activities and may be affixed with the “Shenzhen Standard” logo. In addition, the government will also build a “Shenzhen Standard” certification information platform to publicize certification information, and citizens can learn about Shenzhen's quality product information on this platform.

In terms of environmental governance, the "Action Plan" mentioned that Shenzhen strives to meet international advanced standards in terms of water environmental quality, air quality, and urban afforestation level. By 2020, the urban sewage treatment rate will reach 98%, the green coverage rate in built-up areas will reach 45%, and the forest coverage rate will increase to 41%. Next, the government will further improve the standard system for new energy vehicles, expand the coverage of charging facilities, and promote the use of new energy vehicles. By 2020, energy consumption per 10,000 yuan will remain one of the lowest cities in the country, and energy conservation will rank among the nation's leading.
