On May 31, the 450,000-ton/year polypropylene plant project of the Sichuan Petrochemical Complex Project was transferred. The device was introduced into the United States DOW Chemical Company UNIPOL polypropylene production patented technology. The designed annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of natural color pellets is one of the largest single-line polypropylene plants in China. The installation started on August 30, 2009 and is expected to start production in September this year.
