Introduction
A butterfly valve is a type of flow control device that can be used for both isolation and regulation of fluid flow. The closing mechanism consists of a disc that rotates within the pipe to either allow or block the flow. This design allows for quick shut-off, making it ideal for applications where rapid response is required. Compared to other types of valves, butterfly valves are typically more cost-effective and lighter in weight, which reduces installation and support requirements. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe and is connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike ball valves, the disc remains in the flow path, causing a pressure drop regardless of the valve position.

Other Fire Fighting Equipment

Silicon Carbide (SiC)
SiC ceramics not only has excellent normal temperature mechanical properties, such as high bending strength, excellent oxidation resistance, good corrosion resistance, high wear resistance and low friction coefficient, but also high temperature mechanical properties (strength, creep resistance) Etc.) are the best known ceramic materials. Hot pressing sintering, pressureless sintering, and hot isostatic pressing sintered materials have high-temperature strength up to 1600°C, which is the best high-temperature strength material among ceramic materials. The oxidation resistance is also the best among all non-oxide ceramics. Alias emery.
