Our disposable inoculating loops and needles are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene and come in three different types: needle, 1µL loop, and 10µL loop. The flexible stems allow easy access to small tubes and petri dishes, while the color-coding makes identification simple and efficient. The surface of the loops and needles is treated with vacuum-gas plasma for enhanced performance, and they are individually packaged in sterile peel-open paper/plastic pouches, ensuring sterility through gamma irradiation.

 

An inoculation loop, also known as a smear loop or micro-streaker, is a commonly used tool in microbiology labs. It helps biologists collect microbial samples by utilizing surface tension. These loops are essential for streaking agar plates to cultivate microbes, ensuring consistent and repeatable transfers due to their standardized size and design.
