On February 27th, the 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 300,000 tons of urea project of Coking Chemicals Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Coal Group, successfully carried out a joint trial operation. All the process flows were opened up in one go to produce qualified urea products.
This project is the first chemical fertilizer project of China Coal Group with a total investment of 997 million yuan. It was fully started construction in March 2011. The project adopts domestic advanced production technologies such as oxygen-enriched catalytic conversion, improved hot potash-alkali decarbonization, methanation refining, high-pressure ammonia synthesis, and improved carbon dioxide stripping to produce urea, and has adopted China Coal Jiuxin Corporation and China Coal Chemical Industry.
