When using traditional spray dryers, materials tend to melt during the process due to high temperatures and the presence of carbohydrates, resulting in sticky residues on the drying chamber walls. This makes it difficult to obtain high-quality powder with good flowability. In some cases, additional materials like starch or cyclodextrin are used, but without satisfactory results.
Product Description
The YC-1800 laboratory low-temperature spray dryer, developed by Shanghai Pilotech Instrument & Equipment Co., Ltd., is a breakthrough in spray drying technology. It enables the extraction of natural products and juices from traditional Chinese medicine in a lab setting, producing high-quality powders with excellent flowability at a low temperature of 110°C. This system is particularly suitable for thermo-sensitive materials such as biological products, high-carbohydrate herbal extracts, thermolabile polymers, and heat-sensitive substances. The low-temperature operation ensures minimal degradation and better product quality.
