(2) Treatment of chlorine gas Chlorine gas is contained in the exhaust gas discharged from nickel and cobalt, which is harmful to the human body. The Chengdu Electric Metallurgical Plant adopts the introduction of exhaust gas into the absorption tower of the plastic corrugated board and absorbs it with alkali liquid to obtain the by-product sodium hypochlorite. The tail gas discharged after the absorption of the lye can reach the national allowable discharge standard. Other companies have also used the same method to control chlorine gas and achieved good results.
(3) Treatment of dust The flue gas discharged from metallurgical furnaces and kiln contains a small amount of metal dust in addition to harmful gases, which not only pollutes the environment, but also causes metal loss. Gansu Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. has added a large number of electric dust collection facilities. The control of dusty flue gas basically controls the hazard of dusty flue gas.
(4) Treatment of Wastewater A large amount of wastewater is discharged during the process of metallurgy, which pollutes the environment. Therefore, the treatment of wastewater is also a very important issue. The Chengdu Electric Metallurgical Plant uses the ion exchange technology to treat the process wastewater, which is very effective. Ganchuan Jinchuan also has a sewage treatment station that protects the environment.
In the mining, selection and smelting process of mining enterprises, a large amount of waste rock, tailings, waste residue and waste heat are discharged every year. How to effectively use it is a very difficult problem. Now some waste residue and waste heat are also utilized.
