It is reported that in the near future, the way out for natural gas vehicles will open up, especially for natural gas commercial vehicles. The "13th Five-Year Plan" for natural gas prepared by the National Energy Administration has passed the review and submitted to the State Council for approval. It is expected that it will be announced soon.

For LNG heavy trucks, superior economics of use will lead to changes in the demand structure. With the continuous improvement of the LNG refueling station network layout and continuous breakthrough in LNG storage technology, the proportion of LNG heavy truck sales will gradually increase, reaching a certain zero. After the cut-off point, large-scale replacement of diesel heavy trucks will occur.

The tractors won the championships of the respective groups. This is the second pick-up fuel-saving championship of a joint truck equipped with a Yuchai engine.

In this competition, a natural gas traction vehicle equipped with a Yuchai United 6K13N engine integrated the SGIL gene (smart, safe, environmentally friendly, and lightweight) of the joint truck. In terms of dynamics, the YC6K13N engine is the largest source of natural gas in the same power segment in China. It is a one-stop solution to the industry problem of “small horse-drawn vehicles”. In terms of economy, this engine uses lean-burn technology to effectively reduce gas consumption. Energy costs are less than 25% less than diesel vehicles. In this contest, LNG tractors equipped with YC6K13N engines lived up to the expectations and beat the pack with excellent results of 0.8kg/ton/100km.

In the current fuel-efficient competition, the K Gold Edition won the “Energy Conservation Champion” of the LNG Group with an outstanding performance of 0.8 kg per 100 km of gas consumption. The newly released products all have the characteristics of low emission, high efficiency, low energy consumption and light weight.
