The newly acquired vessel, named the "Resources," measures 86 meters in length and 40 meters in width, making it the largest of its kind in the world. This technology allows scientists to detect oil and gas deposits even at depths previously unexplored. According to official reports, the Japanese government plans to use this vessel to extend its underwater exploration efforts to depths of up to 5,000 meters.
