**Introduction:**
AWS EM12 is a medium-manganese and medium-silicon type welding wire designed to work with corresponding fluxes. It is not sensitive to rust on the base metal, ensuring good bead appearance and easy slag removal. The wire can be used with single or dual feeding methods using AC or DC power.
**Uses:**
When used with sintered flux SJ101, AWS EM12 is ideal for high-speed welding of steel plates with tensile strength up to 420N/mm² and for filling welds.
**Application:**
It is suitable for automatic welding of carbon steel and low-alloy steel with moderate properties.
